PTF No.: T380B164
In a local side of MODE=MULTI, when a terminal function, ALOGJLOG, or ALOGSLOG abnormally ends, a User Queue for the job retains.

REGISTERED DATE: 2011/10/07
CATEGORY: DB access common program
CONDITION: When A-LOG/VTAM (MODE=MULTI) is used, PTF T380B159 is applied, and a terminal function, ALOGJLOG, or ALOGSLOG abnormally ends in a local side.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

When conditions are met, DB access common program USMSLLNK gets control and tries to release the User Queue. But it abnormally ends with S0C1 before releasing the User Queue when it tries to display 'SSB010E USMSLINK TASK ABENDED RSP=nnn' message and A-LOG Monitor retains the entry of User Queue. As a result, these entries will be accumulated, a shortage of User Queue table entries for ALOGJLOG, ALOGSLOG or Terminal function will occur, and RSP401 will be returned. S0C1 occurs because message subroutine ASPLWTO is not link edited to USMSLLNK when T380B159 is applied.

TEMPORARY ACTION:

Restart A-LOG Monitor, ALGGVTAM, and ALGLVTAM if it happened.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION: ASPLWTO subroutine is link edited to USMSLLNK.
