LMIS IT_Framework

CMDB, Service Desk, and Framework are provided.


Service Desk:

A portal site for the operations department is provided to assist operation staff in handling incidents, confirming the status of each process, and accessing necessary information immediately.


CMDB (Configuration Management Database):

A database infrastructure is provided to register system configuration and user information, and to record transaction data and history data.

Framework:

Functions used in each process, such as escalation, logging, reporting, API, and master access, are provided.



LMIS IT Service Support

Incident Management and Problem Management functions based on ITIL are provided.

Incident Management:

Incident reports by users are managed through a single point of contact. Supporting functions are provided to assist in the quick recovery of the IT services interrupted by the incidents, and to provide stable IT services.

Problem Management:

Incidents that need to be resolved or investigated for root causes are recorded as problems. Problem Management analyzes the possible causes of the incidents.



LMIS IT Service Transition

Change Management and Release Management functions based on a concept of ITIL are provided.

Change Management:

This function manages system change information such as problem resolution and system addition or expansion. It manages schedule of changes and status of a process, assists in minimizing the occurrence of errors during changes, and analyzes the risks that may arise during changes to a system. It also automates change operations by managing the configuration of the system being changed.

Release Management:

The Release Management function supports the automated release of software; such a release is enabled by interfacing CMDB and DSL(Definitive Software Library). It assists in ensuring release by recording test information, and provides a safe falling-back operation in case of failure.



LMIS IT Service Design (to be released in the next version)

Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, and Service Continuation Management functions will be provided.



LMIS IT Service Strategy (to be released in the next version)

System Planning and Financial Management functions will be provided.
